Zopa Loans

Zopa loans are unsecured personal loans. You can use them for essentially anything. Since they're unsecured, you don't have to own a home in order to borrow. Nobody needs to co-sign the loan for you. To get started, you just need good credit and a smile.

Eligibility: Any U.S. resident 18 or older with a FICO credit score of at least 640, adequate income, and several years of credit history. Limit 1 loan per borrower.

Loan size: Minimum $1,000, Maximum $25,000

Origination fees: Zero

Annual servicing fees: Zero

Term: 5 years

Prepayment penalty: None

If you've ever used a social networking site, posting a profile is old hat to you. (And for those of you who already have profiles on several sites, we'll let you link to that content in various ways so you don't have to re-invent the wheel.) But we think posting a profile is important, because it enables you to connect with other members of the Zopa community--even if it's to share recipes, or hacks for Nintendo.

Your privacy is important to us, too. If you don't want any help, you can choose to keep your profile pretty much hidden, or even hide selected parts of it (like your age, or the size of your Zopa Loan or Zopa CD).
