Traditionally, Video Production has long been a very closed process contained and controlled within corporate studio silos. Many industries are now opening up because of the realization that immense value is created from an innovation and consumer experience perspective. Some people call it crowdsourcing, and some people consider it to be a global collaborative movement, but regardless of the terminology who would have ever thought that Wikipedia would come along to virtually wipe out the entire encyclopedia industry. Our belief is that the same type of impact will occur in the video and film industries, as mass content creation evolves from text to richer forms of media like video and film.
